Chuck Gross is a certified nutritionist and personal trainer, full-time nutritional coach, longsword instructor at Broken Plow Western Martial Arts in Pittsburgh, and founder of HEMA Strong, a supportive and inclusive online community. He speaks at nutrition seminars, tournaments, and events across North America, including the Arnold Sports Festival.

Chuck began his own journey to improved performance more than 12 years ago, as a sedentary 400+lb father-to-be. The new addition to his family inspired him to make steady, sane lifestyle changes that eventually led to a 200+lb weight loss and a newfound love of activity that brought him to martial arts and the world of performance training.

When he isn’t helping martial artists improve their fitness, training, recovery, and nutrition, Chuck is a noted purveyor of dad jokes, a part-time Dumbledore impersonator, and the world’s leading contender for longest HEMA beard.
